This week, one of our concierges went on a trip to Santa Fe with a client! They had so much fun exploring the city and enjoying each other's company.
"Gloria slept late this morning. I went to the French bakery around the corner and got her a pastry. It was another beautiful southwestern day. We decided to do a gallery walk up Canyon Road and see where it would lead us. Gloria enjoyed the galleries and all of the different types of art being shown. We stopped and got coffee along the way.
After the gallery walk, we did some shopping. Gloria found a new hat for herself and picked a gift for a friend. We walked all over, looking in boutiques and at what the street vendors were selling. We had a snack at an outdoor cafe around the square and went back to the rooms to take a rest. It seemed like we walked for miles and we were both tired.
We went to a fun steakhouse for a drink and then to a French restaurant we'd been recommended. Gloria loved this. There was a man playing the accordion in the courtyard that gave you the feeling of being transported to Paris.
We sat in the hotel bar for a while when we got back listening to a Spanish singer and talking to some other guests before we went to bed.
Gloria is having a great time. We're having many good conversations. She has ideas of things she wants to do in her future like visit Houston, rent a cabin for a week this summer in the mountains, play more golf, paint, etc. It's so nice to see and hear her want to live her life."
