We take our clients out and about, in our own cars, one-on-one just to enjoy life…If you want an example of what this means to our clients, read on:
One of our concierge who visits a facility twice a week, took one of the residents out for a nice drive yesterday. Here’s the report from our concierge:
I took “Betty” out for a nice long drive – went to Starbucks for coffee and a pastry. She had a stroke about 10 years ago. Right side, still not back yet. She did very well transferring with assistance. About 5 minutes into the drive, she took a deep breath and said how she could feel her mind clearing. Betty said that living inside the nursing home walls, you start to think that’s all that exists in the world any longer. A drive, seeing the mountains from the front seat of a car, feels like freedom.
