How do you charge for your services?
Most of our services are billed on an hourly basis. Contrary to what you find with most home health agencies or non-medical service providers, we do no require a minimum number of hours.

What areas do you serve?
We are based in Denver, Colorado. However, we are able to accompany clients wherever they need to go, for whatever reason they need to go there.

Is Elder Concierge Services located in any other places?
Currently, we only operate in and around Denver, CO. In the future we will look to expand our reach, but only if we can operate with the same level of quality and personalization. What is a concierge?
Our concierges are a diverse group of experienced professionals with a passion for the clients they serve. To their clients, they are friends; and that distinguishes Elder Concierge Services from traditional alternatives. In addition, all concierges are insured and most have been with ECS for over 6 years.

How do you differ from other service providers?
All of our services are provided on an individual basis. There are no vans, no groups, no set times…with no exceptions.

Are you a home health agency?
We are not a home health agency. We provide a full range of non-medical senior services including companionship, transportation and other “concierge services."

How quickly can services begin?
Right away. A free consultation, either over the phone or in-person, will take place in order to tailor a program to meet the needs of the client.

How do you work with family members of clients?
We work extremely closely with our client’s family members. Our concierges provide detailed reports after each visit, and are often in constant contact with family members not just to address issues as they arise, but to keep them informed of all the exciting happenings as well. Our goal is to be a proxy for a client's primary caregiver(s) who can’t be there all the time. We take care of everything so that the time you do spend with your loved one is just about enjoying their company.

How do you approach care planning?
We have a deep understanding of the needs that arise as loved ones age. We have been in the business for over 15 years, but have operated in the space for even longer. We are well versed in all aspects of care planning, and pride ourselves on our ability to assess the unique needs of each client.

How does a concierge get matched with a client?
We make every effort to pair each client with the perfect concierge, matching every elder with a true friend who will ensure that he or she maintains not only an active lifestyle, but dignity and a sense of relevance.

Who typically engages Elder Concierge Services?
We are usually engaged by our client’s children, trustee, guardian or care facility.

Is it ok if my mom or dad lives in a care facility?
Yes. In many cases our clients are residents at some form of long term care facility. In such a situation, in addition to providing concierge services, our role includes ensuring your loved one is getting the proper care, attention and oversight necessary out of their care facility.

Do you provide transportation services?
We are not a transportation service, but a lot of our routine concierge visits often involve accompanying clients to where they need to go. That could be a medical appointment, a lunch, a shopping outing, vacation or anything else that might require travel.

Do you work with hospitals?
Yes, we are often engaged by hospitals to accompany patients or clients to and from their residence. We are able to, for instance, communicate with doctors and our clients to ensure proper discharge instructions are followed.

Do you handle transition services?
Yes, we specialize in assisting clients as they move from their home to a care facility, or vice versa. This includes hospitals as well. More information can be found here, or by contacting us at [email protected]

Do your concierges provide reports after each visit
Yes! We send scheduled reports to client families or representatives after each visit. You'll be comforted to know that one of our qualified concierges serves as your eyes and ears on the ground, observing emotional well-being and behavior to the same extent you would.
